Beer & Bacardi Blast

11 hashers met in front of Birla Mandir and Saw’s place in Queen’s Park where the trail started:
New shoe: Antonia (Chiru brought one Angel only)
5 hares: GM Duck Suck Carl, Hissin’ Sid, Fiddler Nitish, Fiddlee Jolly, RA Sex Guru Saw
5 Hashers: Late Cummer was actually early to change into tracks and sneakers at Saw’s, Sexy Legs Chiru, Dancin’ Dildo DD, Stalker Ashish, and Francois.
Happy trails:
The hash trail took us through Queen’s Park, Bondel Road and the residential by lanes of Palm Avenue past toilets, monstrous optic cable drills, and para people pointing out which way to go. While walking I got details of Ashish’s Monsoon Madness and Stupendous Southern Sojourn-highlights of which was washing an elephant!
Back on Saw’s terrace, where we hadn’t been since Bill and Sarah’s farewell, we had brought ice blocks to ice visiting Hasher Run with the Pack from Delhi but he ran away to the airport without joining us. There was lots of cold beer for Down Downs and no one was spared.
Icing:
Topsurd Chintu arrived for the circle and an extra pass to the Bacardi Blast. He got an icing ‘cos he’s getting married next Saturday. RA Sex Guru was full of advice for the wedding night and the honeymoon cruise - various positions and after dinner mints entered into it. Sex Guru had various wooden toys with which he baptized those being iced. Francois, returning hasher from Paris got his Hash handle French Whine. Returnee Stalker was iced for disappearing for months and tho’ he kept giving us details of places, we were more interested in the nationalities of his fellow travelers - Estonia, Romania, Israel! I was most unjustly iced for I really can’t remember the charge and so as not to wet my pants sat on Ashish’s lap on the ice, a revolutionary portrait of mother and child! DD who usually wears the red pants and not Ashish was given down downs along with the other offenders in jeans. Antonia introduced herself as a walker and I had to make sure she could walk away before the Stalker got to her. He plans to run away from home to drive around Europe with a German for 6 months! We wound up just as it got dark and we had to use Saw’s showers to change and go on to the Saturday evening’s programmes with various hash contingents at the very chilling Verse Dance (Afroze, Manish, French Whine and Stalker) and then Walking the Tight Rope at Akar Prakar (FW&S, Rono, Ambar, DD, and Saw in pajamas) followed by dinner at Krystal Chopsticks next door, till the Bacardi Blast at RCGC with unlimited Mojitos… Molester Paul Malsh was much missed but he was busy with the Rugby Championship and we went to the finals of LSC Kolkata Rugby Tens on Sunday afternoon with the Tara Newz reporter, Lilly, Patrick and Josette. There could have been a revolution but the Indian army team beat the British team which also had Simon and Suzie’s husband. Shaun and Pinky and Christophe’s French were there. On, On the Jungle Crows!

The next hash will be on 3 December at Rajerhat the new town and we’ll leave Calcutta at 2 p.m. and return after the Hash around 6:30p.m. We may beable to use Topsurd Chintu’s truck. Like the good hasher he is, he’s going Malaysia, the origins of the hash, for his honeymoon. RA advises us to bring fishing poles! On! On!

4th Nov Eid, 5th Nov Fireworks for the Revolutionaries

Eid Mubarak hashers!

If you aren’t an infidel hasher that is you’d know the Eid lunch is at Afroze’s place this Friday 4th November afternoon till 4 p.m. Last year we were sitting out in the open at trestle tables weighed down with Biriyani and Kebabs at his house near DI club. He came with his wife to invite us at the Brit Club last night.

Remember, remember the 5th of Nov, gunpowder, treason and plot. So this Saturday, 5th Nov. we revolutionaries are doing fireworks instead of a hash. DD is actually setting fire to the Calcutta Club, an old British institution of Calcutta, which till recently didn’t allow natives! There will be dance, music interspersed with fireworks 7 p.m. onwards. Remember to wear shirts with a color and evening shoes. There will be foodstalls and drinks on a coupon system! Anyone interested in going let me know 9830014934.

Revolutionaries,
We are meeting on the street in front of Birla Mandir, Ballygunge Circular Road at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday 19th November, 2005.
Run with the Pack has come all the way from Delhi to run with us. Saw is organizing the circle at his place in Queens Park with Fiddler Nitish haring with him. Molester will hopefully lead the pack before he runs off on a holiday. He’ll still be hashing with us as he’s on on to work in Cal with Future Hope and the Jungle Crows.

On, On,
Late Cummer
