Maidan to Rangers

STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS! The Hash is alive and kickin’! We even have a new flag. Yesterday saw a turnout of 10 including virgin Hasher Sadia and two visiting Hashers from the US of A- Quick Drawers (ex-GM) from Mount Vernon who’s done about million runs (well, almost) and Tongue Boy, who are here for a couple of weeks. Hares were Saw and yours truly who bungled the trail on the Maidan and were down-downed for what was unanimously voted the worst trail ever… lack of appreciation, that’s what I say….. Officiating RA- Bean-Town Billy.

The flag caused the police a bit of indigestion and we were quizzed about our intentions, but the sergeant was satisfied when we explained that all we wanted was a countrywide revolution and overthrow of the Government. Very normal for this city.

The trail took us to a piece of Bonnie Scotchland and Quick Drawers may now have an answer to the old question of what is (?) worn under the kilt, and some people just couldn’t keep their hands off the horses. Revolting, utterly revolting. The hash is going to the horses! Circle was the Rangers Club and, true to form, Late Cummer Neela breeeezed in at 5.30 looking as cool as a cucumber.

Next Saturday is a hashing day and Sarah & Bill are haring, venue to be intimated.
